I love innovative gadgets, especially those tech stuff that I am sure I need to have to help me in my blogging and other hobbies. I have been wishing that these things I am going to feature will be available in the Philippines. I’ve been searching everywhere if they are available (to avoid expensive shipping fees), but I guess I don’t have the luxury of luck to find them. Sad.

But I’ve been keeping an eye on them for quite a while now because, yes, I. Badly. Need. One. To start this slight frustration, here are the gadgets that I want that should be available on my side of town.

Gadgets, come to papa now

ChatSim

The first item is not a gadget. It’s a Sim card. ChatSim is a globally-supported SIM card that lets you use your favorite mobile messaging apps to send and receive unlimited messages for a year.

For a one-time fee of ₱650 (according to their website), you can get the multi-cut card and use to sending and receiving unlimited chat messages anywhere in the world for 525,600 minutes, 365 days, 1 year. Yes, for one whole year, with additional ₱650 to activate the unlimited messaging, it’s a very great deal.

ChatSim is a brainchild of Manuel Zanella, founder, and CEO of ZeroMobile that offers low cost roaming mobile operator established in 2007. His one main goal: making people chat free of charge with their messaging apps. Thus, the card was made. That card is ChatSIM.

If you need unlimited calls for your ChatSim, you can avail the Multimedia Recharge Add-On for only ₱650 that includes 2000 credits* (₱1625 for 5000 credits; ₱3250 for 10000 credits).

*2000 credits = 400 minutes in calls, 200 photos and 40 videos; 1MB is to 50 credits.

Supported messaging apps are the following: Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, QQ International, WeChat, LINE, Telegram, BBM, Hike, and KakaoTalk.

The Sim card is currently available at the ChatSim website, www.chatsim.com. Delivery to the Philippines will cost you for approximately ₱1300 (one-time fee and one year unlimited chat) + Standard Priority Mail (5-15 days delivery) fee of ₱392.41.

You can also get ChatSim at Amazon for $30.00. Check here.

Prynt

Prynt is simply one of the gadgets that serve as smartphone case. However, what’s not so simple about this device is its ability to take pictures and instantly print them, hence, the brand name.

They claim to be the first-ever photo printing phone case. As an avid smartphone user for photography, I would love to have one for myself. On their website, Prynt only needs to be plugged in a supported smartphone device, and get a printed photo in 30 seconds.

What makes this gadget even more attractive is its ability to print with no ink. The photo paper used called Zink, does not need ink and does not need ink refill for your Prynt device.

The case is compatible with iPhone 6s, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy 5, and Samsung Galaxy 4. With the interchangeable adapter system, you can still use the Prynt case without purchasing another case (which costs $149.99).

Aside from the case being simple to use — no ink, no WiFi or Bluetooth required — and is compatible with iOS and Android phones. But if you think that it’s only printing your photos that it can do, there’s more.

While you’re taking a picture, Prynt app also records a video and stores it on the cloud, linked to that photo. After it’s been printed, you and your friends can use the app to see your hidden message.

Prynt was founded in June 2014 in Paris, France and is now available at the Prynt website, www.prynt.co.

You can also check Prynt at Amazon for $149.99. Check here. The Zink Paper is also available for $25 of 50 sheets per pack.

Brydge Keyboard

I am very, very, very, very lucky to win a raffle last year. I just took home a brand Apple iPad Air 2! Yey! I was, and still is enjoying my winning and been using it to watch movies on Netflix.

With an illuminated typing experience, the Keyboards have achieved the perfect balance between being mobile and being productive anytime, anywhere.

The built-in speakers provide great sound. They come directly toward you in stereo is the way it’s meant to be. The next generation speakers deliver a rich stereo sound that leaves you with a great listening experience.

With up to 3 month’s battery life on a single charge, keeping your Brydge for iPad powered up and on the go is easy. Simply charge it with the provided Micro USB cable for as little as an hour and you will have months of productivity ahead of you.

Aside from their existing line of aluminum keyboards, they also offer accessories: Leather sleeves and Protective shells for added safeguarding of your iPad devices.

It is currently available at Brydge website, www.brydgekeyboards.com.

The BrydgeAir for iPad Air is priced for only $149.99. You can also check Brydge Keyboards at Amazon. Check here.

If these gadgets are available in the Philippines, shipping fee might have been much cheaper or even free. Considering the price tag, I would love to have these devices, but hoping the delivery service free is no where on my total checkout cart.

Are you also wishing that these gadgets be available in our country? Or do you have other gadgets that you wish are available here? Please leave your suggestions in the comment section below.
