When you are in Cebu City or you have decided to come around for a business or a leisure trip, it would be best if you settle to a comfortable hotel. One must consider its location, probably near to a shopping mall or close to amazing landmarks. Aside from that, services and the amenities like restaurant, swimming pool, and other things should also be offering you spots to be comfortable and relaxing from a busy day.
The one that I can recommend you checking is the Diamond Suites & Residences.
Diamond Suites And Residences: Functionality And Comfort Converge
The Diamond Suites & Residences is located at No. 8, Apitong corner Escario Street, which is very near to restaurants and food shops, banks and a very short walk to Ayala Center. It is also a short riding distance to Cebu IT Park. The hotel is very accessible to public transport and you won’t be having difficulties in getting around places when you stay at the Diamond Suites.
If you decided to spend a night or two at the Diamond Suites, you should be checking this review for you to check out what they can offer you.
They have 102 spacious rooms both Deluxe and Superior. I have an amazing and comfortable night with the big bed and the room they let me have had a space to work for my blogging. To add more, the bathroom has a bathtub and the shower case is huge you might set up a square table and a chair and you still have space to walk around.
A sitting room with a round coffee table and lounge chairs are on the side next to the bed for a relaxing spot while watching TV or for work.
Whenever I want to stay in a hotel, I always ask the reservation officer if they can make sure that the room that I am having has a huge window with a nice view. Unfortunately, the room was situated at the center of the hotel building and getting a view from the window is challenging with that room. You can still ask the hotel reservation staff anyway if you really need one.
The Diamond Suites has a comfortable, well-lighted and clean lobby and a waiting lounge. The sitting area is also relaxing to stay while you take turns for checking in to or out from the hotel with the other hotel guests. They also have a restaurant called Grain Restaurant, and 8th Street Bar & Coffee Lounge, an outdoor coffee, and drinks bar where you can unwind after a day’s worth of busy work.

If you go to the rooftop, you can get a nice view of the city while dipping yourself into a swimming pool or sunbathe on the beach chairs. The swimming pool area just finished renovating and was re-opened for the guests to use days before I checked in.
They also have a very stable Internet and WiFi connection which is good if you have something to do for work that needs connecting to the web.
I was invited to dine at the Grain Restaurant and try their Saturday buffet offering. The International Feastival happens on a Saturday at night where you can have a huge variety of food from around the world. For only ₱408.00 net per person, you can now have a huge variety of choices for the appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
Even though I was so full already with the appetizers and the main course, I still convinced myself to find room for desserts. At the Grain Restaurant, you cannot deny that you need to have a go with the sweets and pastries.
They also offer sweet cakes and confectionaries that you can get for only ₱108.00 per slice. You can also get them in one whole piece.
The breakfast buffet was also amazing, but I wasn’t able to take pictures of the food because the Grain Restaurant was full packed with all the guests having breakfast. I don’t want to take pictures while other people are eating. But to be honest with you, the corned beef with potatoes were amazing I went back to get another plate multiple times.
I had so much fun and enjoyed my overnight stay at the Diamond Suites. The hotel offered me convenience that I wanted in a hotel: the food at the Grain Restaurant is amazing, the lobby is very welcoming and cozy, guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, and most of all the swimming pool area is very relaxing and fun to stay around.
The Internet connection is stable that I almost stayed until the early morning to write and update my blog.
On my first night, my friends and I went to Ayala Center to buy some snack food for our Netflix night. Again, the dinner buffet at the Grain Restaurant was totally fantastic that I nearly missed desserts because I went full plate on the appetizers and main courses.
The Diamond Suites & Residences is located near the Archbishop Reyes Avenue which can be very busy. However, if you wish to drop by for shopping at Ayala Center, you don’t need to have a public transport. A short travel by foot can be enough to reach the mall.
The front desk and hotel staff members were accommodating and they were very helpful answering my questions and requests. They even offered me to transfer to another room when I reported that there was a slight problem with the air conditioning unit. Of course, the front desk sent someone to have it fixed and have it sorted out.
Having a cup of coffee at the 8th Street went well, too. The price is just affordable. I stayed there for quite awhile in the afternoon after checking out to relax and to publish a blog post for my website, since again, the Internet connection is very stable even at the lobby area.
