Write anything you like and share it with pride. Blogging can be fun. Well, blogging is fun. But it can be challenging as well especially if you are aiming to always update your content. I have been doing this since 2008 if I can remember, yet the major setback of writing on your blog, in general, is one, what to write about, and two, how often do you need to write. Unless you already master the trend on knowing what and when to write.

A blogging notebook and a pen are always at hand (just in case)

In this case, there is one common basic technique that can help you achieve your goal in blogging.

Plan ahead on what you like to write

You need to jot down the topics you would like to write about on your blogging notebook or your notepad. That is why it is very important for a blogger to always bring with them something to write on and a pen (to be always ready if you ever encounter some interesting stuff along the way when you’re out and about). Writing short phrases can help you formulate ideas and when you are set to blog about it, you have a good guide on what will be your new post all about.

Here’s the format:

1) Identify the main subject of your discussion.

For this post, the very specific examples are “technique” and “update.” You need to focus on those keywords in moving further to your new blog post. When you already have the main point of your topic, this can help you on how to expand your ideas and thoughts about it.

2) Describe your subject with an adjective (or adverb).

Depending on how you would like to present it to your readers, the words “basic” and “always” might ring a bell for you. This is something you need to visualize the subject matter. These keywords can also be your guide on what to write about and also set boundaries for your writing.

3) Be specific with the action that you wanted to convey.

The “how” might be an example, telling your audience the actions required or what are the necessary steps in achieving the purpose of your blog post. This will also help you on what should be the outcome of your discussion so you won’t “turn around the bush”.

Your finished phrase or sentence can now be your working title.

Bonus: You may add “specific number of…” as your limitation. This is a practical way to tell yourself that you only need to think of how many things should be told on your blog post. In this post, I chose “A”, which denotes to one. And I already did, and this tells me that I am already complete with my latest post.

How about you? Do you blog? Do you have one basic step to always write about your favorite topics? Share your thoughts and leave them in the comment box.

You can also share your ideas with me on Facebook and Twitter. I don’t regularly update it that much, but I have Instagram, too.
