When you blog, we always look for the best theme for our website as well as interesting and inviting contents to publish. Along the way, when you started to grow your audience and get focus on populating your posts, it is also very important to consider the presentation and appearance of your blog.
One of the important components that can help is the font you use on your header or title banner. This lets your followers coming back to read your blog posts because they remember it and talk about it.
As you can see in my header image, I am using the Another Typewriter typeface.
Fonts are life for your blog
I have decided to come up with this font because I feel it represents what I do: blogging. This is a typical typewriter font, but I have modified and smoothen the edges to make it look less rustic and rugged.
It was created in 2005 by font author Johan Holmdahl, with his 5 other typewriter-style typefaces.
I consider fonts as one of the things that you also need to think about when you decide to start your blog. It can help you represent yourself and also the content you publish online. However, it can be time-consuming sometimes for the reason that there are so many “pretty” fonts available out there.
Especially today, new font typefaces are released. They are usually inspired by handwriting styles when calligraphy became a trend to blogging. As I check online, I have seen some beautifully created fonts from random authors. Here are some of my favorites:
