The Four Maximum Things I Love About The Zenfone 4 Max

Believe it or not, smartphones are an essential tool for people who are on-the-go. Bloggers, like me, always make sure that everywhere we go (as long as we’re allowed), we are able to capture amazing moments through taking photos. In my case, I have a mirrorless camera, however, having a device that has a capability to take clear images, and at the same time, can connect me to social easily and comfortably, I would prefer getting a smartphone that can give me maximum usage.

The Four Maximum Things I Love About The Zenfone 4 Max

ASUS recently launched their new line of Zenfone 4 smartphones in the market. One of the five (so far) models they have introduced is the Zenfone 4 Max. Multiple steps of an upgrade from the Zenfone 3 Max, here are some bits of four things I love about this new device:

High Capacity Juice

Since we all know that even though hand-held and high-end SLR cameras can take much better images, we tend to end up getting a smartphone for photography as long as it can compete well with the former. Like me, I always get away from having too much bulk in my backpack. As I’ve said, my mirrorless camera stays at home (but comes with me if necessary), and instead, I bring my smartphone.

With the Zenfone 4 Max high capacity battery, you can really say that this can be as reliable as it can be to take a lot of photos (and videos) without worrying about battery discharges in the middle of photo shoots and filming. The Zenfone 3 Max only has 4100mAh battery, however, it can already serve longer use. (Watch video: The #MAXYOURLIFE Zenfone 3 Max #SINULOG2017 Challenge). Imagine a 5000mAh battery on a smartphone. Obviously, it can stay on longer and can definitely let you take more photos or use to connect online without recharging.

At Last! Deepsea Black

I love you, ASUS, for Deepsea Black! But before that, I am neither against nor have something bad to say about the “Navy Black” color scheme. The Blue-Black tone is nice. But no. Deepsea Black is nicer. Period.

In trio color palette: Deepsea Black, Sunlight Gold, Rose Pink

But what’s the color all about? I mean, the Zenfone 4 Max is also available in Sunlight Gold and Rose Pink color variant. But Deepsea Black is more elegant and more versatile for my personal preference. By the way, I am not being sexist about color choices on smartphones. Long before, I own a pink smartphone because it was the most trendy color of that brand and model. I just wanted to make it clear, however, that I like darker colors on smartphones better. Like the Deepsea Black color.

What can I say? Well, actually, I have nothing more to say now about this. Deepsea Black it is. (Did you see how many times I mentioned “Deepsea Black” here? Come on!)

Wefie: The “We” In “Selfie”

Am I allowed to say this? I am not into taking selfies. There. I am the kind of person who 1) will take the photo, and 2) will have a photo taken with other people. And thanks to ASUS, again, they have the campaign on “Wefie”. It’s simply putting the “we” on “selfie”. With the 120-degree wide-angle capture of the Zenfone 4 Max, from the rear dual-lens camera (13 megapixels), it’s better to take pictures with family members and friends.

The worry of missing someone from the final shot is long way gone with this new innovation. I am sure that everyone in the group will fit perfectly.

The 8-megapixel front-facing camera is also capable of taking amazing photos. It also has Beauty Mode that lets you apply a variety of enhancement effects to your selfies to make them glam shot worthy. Whether you are taking photos, filming a video, or live streaming on social, ZenFone 4 Max lets you create your perfect look for the camera.

Not only with taking “Selfie” and “Wefie” on Zenfone 4 Max that these specifications contribute very well, it can also take a wider perspective on landscape photos. You don’t need to farther from the scene of your photo to capture everything. The wide-angle lens can grab 200% view of the scene as wide as possible you want.

Here’s a sample photo. It was taken by my friend, CJ Estrada who, by the way, is the model on the first photo above. (Model.) He used the Zenfone 4 Max smartphone to take the shot.

Really, It’s A Power Bank

Considering the 5000mAh battery, when it’s time for you to recharge the Zenfone 4 Max, you would assume that it will take a while to fully charge the battery. The smartphone has fast charging capability. It can last up to 46 days standby time, 40 hours talk time, 22 hours video playback time, and 26 hours Wi-Fi web browsing.

What’s interesting about this smartphone and its battery is that it can be able to last 3 hours talk time on a 15-minute charge, and 91 hours standby time on 10% battery. Hands down… amazing!

We can even go further with the Zenfone 4 Max. It can be used as a power bank! It truly is a smartphone with a super long battery life. Charge other mobile devices just by connecting them to ZenFone 4 Max with the USB On-The-Go (OTG) cable (in the box).
