5 Reasons Why You Should Get The narzo 50i Prime (Review)

The narzo 50i Prime is an entry-level affordable smartphone featuring an 8.5 mm slim design, a 6.5-inch display, a 1.82 GHz Octa-core Unisoc processor, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Within a week of testing and use, here are five (5) things I can say with emphasis on why you should get the narzo 50i Prime without a question:

Competitive and Decent Processor

The narzo 50i Prime has realme UI R Edition under Android 11. Engineered with Unisoc T612 Octa-Core Processor, it gives a decent performance in mid-heavy games and an enjoyable experience in casual gaming. It is also responsive when used for online web browsing and scrolling social media updates. Expect smooth performance if you want to binge-watch videos on YouTube or listen to music on the Spotify app.

Beautiful And Clean Design

It’s easy to hold and it’s lightweight. Weighing 182 grams, the narzo 50i Prime is lighter compared to the other smartphones I currently own. The spectacular stripe design in Dark Blue or Mint Green gives a beautiful impression you can flaunt. The 8MP AI Camera and the single LED flash were placed neatly on the back panel surrounded by a glossy finish that adds style to the smartphone.

Large And Responsive Display

The 6.5-inch LCD Display provides comfortable viewing for videos, photos, and games. The HD+ 720 x 1600 screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate enable you to watch virtually any video without experiencing any issues. It is also fluid enough for games on mobile devices like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Not to mention a 120Hz touch sampling rate that is competitive for a better response during intense battles for victory. There’s a 5 MP front-facing camera on a teardrop notch to serve you for selfies.

Big Battery And Expandable Storage

The device also has a massive 5,000mAh battery that offers you ample time to enjoy online browsing, taking pictures or videos, or gaming. Although it is not supported with fast charging, the phone takes about an hour and 30 minutes to fully charge (via a micro USB port and 10W charging), which you can enjoy for the whole day or more days1 depending on how heavy you utilize it. Its base memory is 3GB sufficient to handle the processes of operating the social media apps, user interface, and connectivity. The 32GB internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB via the microSD card slot available on the device. That should be enough to save up for image and video files.

Budget-Friendly And Available Almost Everywhere

Launched in the Philippines last August, the narzo 50i Prime already is a best-selling model on its initial launch and was able to achieve back-to-back sold-out on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok with its original price tag of ₱4,999. It’s now even more affordable for only ₱3,999 (even priced as low as ₱3,799 during online promos and sales), yet the narzo 50i Prime maintained an unbelievable price-to-specs balance ideal for users who are looking for powerful smartphones that won’t break the bank. You can get one now from more than 20 narzo physical stores and kiosks near you, from authorized dealers and resellers, as well as online from the narzo flagship store on Lazada, and the realme flagship store on Shopee. It is also offered via the narzo PH TikTok Shop.

Conclusion

Getting your own narzo 50i Prime won't let you get outdated and left behind | Skip The Flip

With its 6.5″ HD+ Large Display, 5,000mAh battery, and expandable storage of up to 1TB via the microSD slot, the narzo 50i Prime is something that is a must for budget-conscious consumers but still wanting to have a powerful smartphone for both work and play. You can even use this device for online classes, now that’s another plus for students on a budget.

All devices have their own limitations. In the case of the narzo 50i Prime, a pair of wired headphones and charging brick are not included in the packaging. And it’s charging port is a micro USB (compared to other devices in the market now using USB Type-C ports). You also need to consider that it’s currently running on realme UI R Edition under Android 11. It may not be as high-end or as powerful as the realme UI 3.0 but realme says the UI R Edition is designed for budget smartphones and offers a stock Android-like look. The Simple Mode makes the icons larger so even non-tech savvy users can easily use the phone.

Getting your own narzo 50i Prime won’t let you get outdated and left behind, especially with the spectacular stripe design that is pleasing to look at, clean yet elegant. The narzo 50i Prime is also available in Dark Blue and Mint Green color variants. This is indeed a “Quality Sulit” smartphone in the market today.
