I am becoming emotional now. Wait. Breathe. Okay. Do you remember your favorite toys when you were still young and the only dream you have is to play with friends until the break of dawn outside the house gate or at our neighbors’ house? I definitely do. I am not sure if I can still find those kids toys that I have before, today, but writing this post brings back a lot of childhood memories.
These Kiddie Toys We Surely Love To Have During Childhood
Well, anyway, when I see them online or remember having them, I want to have these kiddie toys again. Like now.
Robot with TV Screen Tummy
It’s one of my favorite kid’s toys. Searching for it online, I found out it’s called Saturn: The 13″ Walking Robot with Lites-Up Eyes, and four (4) shooting missiles and a big TV screen. It shows you a short movie of the galaxy (or outer space) and when it stops, it speaks robot. I wish I have one now.
Water Games
If you haven’t played one when you were just a kid, I don’t know where your childhood went. I remember playing this water game “console” before and tried to shoot all the hoops. The end of this when I accidentally let go of it and the plastic cylinder broke. This is very nostalgic.
Musical TV
This is the iPad of my younger years. I always carry this in my bag and play it when I go to bed. When I researched out this online, it says that this Musical TV is vintage. It became famous first in the 70s. Do you have this precious gem, too?
Pencil Cases
If you own one of these, you’re cool at school. It’s an automatic pencil case with compartments. It has a magnifying glass, and a magnetic lock compartment door/cover. I have mine in Power Rangers, of course. Where is it now? I need one.
Brick Game
I tried playing Game-And-Watch, and Game Boy. But, unfortunately, I didn’t own them. The first gaming console that I have is the Brick Game or Tetris. The gray one with the yellow button. If it’s not that color, it’s not original. The display is dot matrix, monochrome (black and white). And I would compete with my classmates at school for the highest score. That was fun.
Family Computer
This is the world famous Family Computer (Famicom) by Nintendo. From Contra, Super Mario Bros., Adventure Island, Mappy, The Goonies, Circus Charlie, Excite Bike, The Legend of Kage, and a lot more. But the most exciting part: it’s the Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. Start.
